[Searching and shopping for Atmananda books can be confusing. 1) There is a significant Indian political character who is also known as Krishna Menon. 2) There is also a woman who has a Kindle e-book out who is named Krishna Menon. 3) There is a modern mystic issuing new books who goes by the name Swami Sri Atmananda; he's not Krishna Menon. 4) Atma Darshan is sometimes found to be available in a Spanish edition. I can't vouch for its authenticity, but I can vouch for its authentic Spanish language. 5) Note that sometimes Sri Adwayananda's name is often used as Sri Atmananda Krishna Padmanabha Menon..]

I am not in the lineage of Sri Atmananda. Nonetheless, given that my three primary influences in post-awakening were Scott Kiloby (heavily influenced by Greg Goode), Rupert Spira, and Greg Goode, there's no denying that you can find the Direct Path's footprints all over my work. If general Nonduality could be said to be what woke me up, then the Direct Path and its skillful teachers are what cleared me up.

Later on, it was my explicit involvement--really living the teaching, and dedicating my life to it--doing hundreds of Awakening Sessions with clients and students over the period of a year that pushed me yet further. This continuous opening takes place without my even being conscious of it. I feel it occurring, but see it only by way of a rear view mirror.

FRED DAVIS studied and practiced Eastern wisdom for twenty-five years prior to 2006, when his seeking ended, and his true awakening commenced. He is the creator and editor of Awakening Clarity Now, and the founder of The Living Method of Awakening.
